Hello campers and friends!
Spring is in full bloom here at the campground—literally! The flowers are bursting with color, the trees are lush and green, and we've been enjoying beautiful weather with temperatures in the 80s most days. It's the perfect time to sit outside, take a walk, or just relax by the lake.
We're hard at work getting everything ready for a great summer season. Our team is putting in lots of effort to open the small pool in time for Memorial Day weekend, so you can cool off and enjoy some fun in the sun. We're still hopeful that we'll be able to open the big pool for the summer, but things are still uncertain at this time. Please know that our staff is doing everything they can to make it happen, and we'll keep you updated as soon as we know more.
You may notice some changes around the front of the store—we're redoing the entrance area to make it more appealing and user-friendly, especially for late check-ins. We're also working on creating a bulletin board filled with local recommendations, including things to do, upcoming festivals, and great restaurants nearby to help you make the most of your stay. We'll be posting pictures once it's all finished!
Lastly, we're sad to announce that Karen, who has been a friendly face at the front desk for the past year, has stepped away from her role. We'll miss her warm smile and dedication, but we're happy to say she's still living here at the campground—so be sure to wave hello when you see her around!
